Charles Cermele has rightly been described as one of cabaret’s most accomplished performers. This is confirmed by the critical praise that greet both his performances and recordings.

Born in New Jersey Charles made the journey from his home time to his natural home in the Manhattan cabaret rooms via a spell of acting in Boston.

Charles selects his material to skilfully combine a flair for standards as well as compelling new songs. A chief contributor to his success is his long-term collaboration with Christopher Marlowe as arranger and pianist.

Performances include:

The FireBird; Arci's Place; Cabaret Convention - NYC

Recordings include:

Look In My Eyes

Ask Me Again

Awards include:

1996 Bistro Award for Outstanding Record of the Year—Look In My Eyes

1998 MAC Award—Outstanding Male Vocalist
