Andrea Marcovicci draws heavily on her acting skills in bringing a sense of theatricality to her performances. She often combines this by presenting little known material by well-know composers. She has a reputation for developing well-researched shows covering a wide variety of material, these have ranged from love songs from World War II to the works of Jerome Kern This approach has also influenced her recordings and she has recorded CDs based around particular composers and/or singers and also new songwriters most notably in ‘New Words’ which featured a selection of 21 songs by contemporary songwriters. Performances include: The Oak Room - NYC, Pizza on the Park - London Recordings include: Live From London Some Other Time Just Kern New Words What The Critics Say: “She has a magnetic and spellbinding delivery that captures her audiences from the opening note...” Simon Becker
