Audrey Lavine's musical routes began with being classically trained in opera, graduating from the Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music. Along the way were performances on the musical theatre stage (where she understudied for both Betty Buckley and Barbara Cook). Now seems to have her sights firmly set on the cabaret world. Her fine soprano voice has won much deserved acclaim as have her fine interpretations of songs form the Great American Songbook. Performances include: Firebird Cafe; Judy's Chelsea
Recordings include: At Home With Arlen This Is No Dream
What The Critics Say: "The cabaret critic is not supposed to clap, stamp his feet, stand on his chair and cheet, however in the case of Audrey LAvine, we are sorely tempted to break all restarints" Topman Magazine, Ted Hook's OnStage "...the divine Lavine performed each number as if in sync with the soul of its composer...she unexpectedly opened floodgates of emotion" Bistro Bits, Back Stage "She reveals herself able to sing the whole keyboard...a combination of beautiful voice and provocative personality" Cabaret Scenes
