A truly legendary performer and singer who just seems to get better with each passing year, as she continues to thrill audiences worldwide.

After an extensive career on Broadway (roles in Carousel, Plain & Fancy and The Music Man) Barbara Cook found a brand new lease of life singing on the major concert stages, and in prestigious cabaret rooms around the world.

This also launched a string of  landmark recordings that allowed the true magic of the Cook voice to be preserved forever. In February 2001 a sensational show at Carnegie Hall, with her long-term Musical Director Wally Harper,  marked the 50th anniversary of Ms Cook's Broadway debut

Performances include:

Broadway: Flahooley; The Grass Harp; The Music Man; She Loves Me

Cabaret: Cafe Carlyle; Carnegie Hall; Feinstein's at The Regency; Cafe Royale (London); Hollywood Bowl

Recordings include:

Close As Pages In A Book; Live From London; It's Better With A Band; The Champion Season; Sings Mostly Sondheim

Awards include:

Tony Award; Grammy Award; Drama Desk Award; Inducted into Broadway Hall of Fame

What The Critics Say:

“...She reaches out to us with absolute and utter truth.”

Sheridan Morley, Live in London sleeve notes
