Fresh young (don’t mention his age but he’s in his mid-twenties) Australian star whose performances in both musicals and drama have brought him to the attention of a wide and appreciative audience.
The son of Australian rock singer Jimmy Barnes, David has made his own name for himself, enjoying a two-month sell-out engagement at Eighty Eights. Since then he has gone on to a three-week engagement at Rainbow and Stars.
It was Entertainment Weekly which said of him that he had “caused the biggest splash on the village circuit since Barbra Streisand”.
